Prime Taekwondo Center, located in Hacienda Heights, is a newly established school focused on helping students achieve their personal goals—whether it’s improving fitness, building confidence, or earning a black belt. With smaller class sizes and a low student-to-instructor ratio, we provide personalized attention tailored to each student’s unique learning style. Our History:

Prime Taekwondo Center was founded in 2023 by Head Master Josh Rhee, a 4th Degree World Taekwondo Federation Black Belt with over 30 years of experience. Master Rhee’s journey in Taekwondo began at the age of six, and since then, he has spent over 20 years teaching and managing three different schools. His deep connection to the martial arts community and experience working with more than 10,000 students reflect his commitment to helping others grow both physically and mentally. At Prime Taekwondo Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction rooted in these values and Master Rhee’s lifelong dedication to the art.

Our Tiny Tigers program is specially designed for young children aged 4-6, focusing on building a strong foundation of respect, discipline, and self-confidence.

Through fun, engaging activities, students will learn the basics of Taekwondo, while also developing essential life skills such as balance, coordination, and focus. Each class encourages teamwork, listening, and perseverance, helping our Tiny Tigers grow both physically and mentally in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Our Taekwondo Kids program is designed for children aged 7-12, focusing on instilling core values such as respect, discipline, and perseverance.

Students will engage in structured martial arts training that not only builds physical strength, coordination, and flexibility but also fosters character development. Through consistent practice, they will learn the importance of setting goals, working hard, and demonstrating integrity both on and off the mat. This program empowers kids to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and cultivate a positive attitude while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Taekwondo Teens and Adult program focuses on building confidence, improving physical fitness, and enhancing self-discipline.

Through martial arts training, participants develop strength, flexibility, and self-defense skills, while boosting mental resilience and personal growth. This program is designed to help teens and adults stay active, focused, and empowered in a supportive environment.

Our Taekwondo Competition Team trains students for high-level competition, focusing on advanced techniques, sparring, and tournament preparation.

Athletes develop strength, agility, and sportsmanship while striving for excellence in a competitive environment.

Our Taekwondo Demo Team delivers dynamic performances that combine acrobatics, poomsae (forms), board breaking, and synchronized choreography.

Team members develop precision, creativity, and athleticism, showcasing their martial arts skills at events and inspiring others with the excitement and discipline of Taekwondo.
